How do you become a CANP member?
At the top of the this page click Join, or to download an application.
How long does my membership last?
Memberships are for one calendar year from July to June expiring June 30, 2011. If you join mid year you pay for a partial year which ends June of that year.
How do I renew my membership?
You can renew your membership by any of the following methods:
- Under the Member's only section click Renew or click here to Renew My Membership;
- Download an application and fax to 916.443.2004 or mail to CANP 1415 L Street, Suite 200 Sacramento, CA 95814
- contact the Membership Coordinator at admin@canpweb.org
What methods are acceptable for payment for membership?
CANP accepts personal and business checks, Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover.
Once I become a new member when will I receive my membership card and number?
Most membership applications are processed within 3 business days of receipt. A new member packet will be mailed to you within 5 business days.
When I renew my membership, when will I receive a new membership card?
Renewal membership cards are mailed out every two weeks.
I entered my membership number and it's not working, how do I find the my username and password?
The Username and Password is located on your membersip card, using your member number as the Username and your last name as the Pasword or contact the CANP office by phone at (916) 441.1361 email; admin@canpweb.org
I received my membership renewal card but the credentials on the card are incorrect can I receive a new card?
Yes. Contact the CANP office by phone at (916) 441.1361 or admin@canpweb.org to request a new card.
How do I update my old mailing address and email?
Just click here and select Update your address.
My membership has lapsed can I still renew?
Yes. You may re-join online or download, fax or mail a membership application, click Join at the top of the page.
How can receive a receipt for my paid membership?
You can request a copy of a receipt by contacting CANP Membersbip. The receipt can be sent via email, fax, mail. Just email us at admin@canpweb.org
If I am CANP member does that automatically make me AANP (American Academy Nurse Practitioner) or ACNP (American College of Nurse Practitioners) member?
No. CANP is Group Member with AANP; you may receive a discounted rate for membership because you're a CANP member.
CANP is an Affiliate Member with ACNP, also offering a discounted rate for membership because you a member with CANP.
